Privacy Policy
ContactSwiper is built around the belief that your contacts stay yours. We ship with zero cloud services and no background telemetry.
Privacy note: ContactSwiper processes every change on-device. We never upload, monetize, or inspect your address book.
Last updated: October 29, 2025 • Effective for ContactSwiper v1.0 and later.
On-device processing
- ContactSwiper runs entirely on your iOS device. We do not maintain servers that process or store your address book.
- Your contacts, metadata, and cleanup history never leave your iPhone or iCloud backups under your control.
Data collection
- We do not collect analytics, personal identifiers, or crash reports by default.
- Optional diagnostic logs can be shared manually when you contact support. They are deleted after the issue is resolved.
Permissions
- Access to Contacts is required to analyze, merge, and restore entries.
- Push notifications are optional and only used for gentle cleanup reminders.
Your rights
- Delete the app at any time to remove all ContactSwiper data from your device.
- Reach us at contactsswiper@gmail.com for questions about privacy or data handling.
Subscription privacy
- ContactSwiper Pro subscriptions are handled through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Apple provides us with anonymized renewal and cancellation events so we can keep your entitlement active; no personal billing data is processed by ContactSwiper.
- You can review Apple’s payment privacy terms inside App Store settings if you need more detail about how they manage subscriptions.
